When I talk about social media content, most small business owners immediately think about visuals. The design, the video, the color palette, the filters. But there’s another element that quietly drives reach and brand awareness—and it’s not being talked about nearly enough: audio.

I can remember the last time I heard some…ahem…substandard audio in a video. I didn’t stay long. These social media sites know that. Platforms like Instagram and Facebook are prioritizing original audio.
